FrodHouse is a raised outdoor frog hotel designed for climbing frogs such as green tree frogs.
It gives visiting frogs a sheltered vertical space with water, shade and several ways in and out. Install it on a fence, in the ground, beside a pond or among plants—wherever your local Frods already like to spend time.

Installation
Choose a cool, shaded position near plants and existing frog activity, away from pesticides and strong afternoon sun. Our FrodHouse installation guide explains the fence, ground and pond setup options step by step.
Materials and care
The house and platform are 3D printed in Australia from plant-based PLA+ and designed for outdoor use. They are not intended to be thrown into the garden or home-composted. Check the water, drainage and mounting occasionally, especially after storms or very hot weather.

Good to know
FrodHouse improves the shelter and moisture available in your garden, but frog visits cannot be guaranteed. Frogs remain independent contractors. A shady, chemical-free garden with plants, insects and clean water gives them the best reason to investigate.

Is FrodHouse for tree frogs or ground frogs?
FrodHouse is mainly designed for climbing frogs such as green tree frogs. Unlike a ground-level ceramic cave, it provides a raised shelter, water pool and platform.
Why is it raised?
Climbing frogs naturally use vertical spaces. Raising the shelter also helps separate it from some ground-level disturbance, though no setup is completely predator- or toad-proof.
What does the rain capture do?
The roof helps direct rain into the water area so the Frod zone can stay moist between top-ups. Use clean, chemical-free water and refresh it when needed.
Is it a replacement for a frog pond?
No. FrodHouse is a shelter and hydration spot, not a full breeding pond. It works best as one part of a frog-friendly garden.
Will it attract frogs?
It gives local frogs a suitable place to visit, but it cannot summon frogs to a garden without suitable habitat. Shade, plants, insects, clean moisture and no pesticides all matter.
